I think the easiest most straightforward is to have your existing one rebuilt (and this is assuming that the generator is deficient and that your root cause isn't elsewhere).

I have one off my 48 with flat 6. I changed mine to an alternator. I don't know your location, it might be heavy to ship?

You can probably get it in a flate rate postal service box. Otherwise shipping will be about $50 is my guess.

No youre right but luckily there’s Steve Blancard, I had several of mine rebuilt by Steve splitdorf@***.net he’s in VA. It isn’t that much to ship back and forth. You won’t find anyone better at what he does. He’s done several for me and everyone I’ve heard mention him sings his praises. Alternatively he’s going to Hersey this year so you could do a pic or drop to save on shipping at least one way if you or someone is going?
