I used honda ps fluid.
bleeding is a bit of a pain. I read a lot of online directions but found the best results by jacking up the front end, adding fluid until full, then turning the wheel lock to lock a few times, until it stops bubbling. Fill w/ fluid once it drops. Then turn all the way to one side, and bump the starter, but don't let it actually start. I think I removed the wire from the distributor so it wouldn't fire up. Turn all the way to the opposite side and repeat side to side until the fluid doesn't drop anymore.
I found that if you had the engine running while trying to turn lock to lock led to too much cavitation and foaming of the PS fluid, leading to it foaming and coming out of the reservior cap.
So i bled the system, but every time the engine rpms rise and the wheels turn the fluid seeps out from the dip stick and pours out. No bubbles are present. Im not letting the truck sit off until tomorrow, hoping maybe it will relax the system.
