Need help please
Hi, today I bought a 1999 f-250 super duty / v-10 / 2 wd with 249,000 miles. The engine was running perfectly when I started driving it home but then after about an hour it just switched into limp mode or at least it seemed like it. The temp gauge was at max. I made it home turned off the truck , checked the oil and water which were both fine then got in and started it again to find it running perfectly again and the temp was now showing at normal (truck was only stopped for about 3 min). I'm guessing this is some kind of electrical issue but I though you guys may have a better idea than me on whats going on here. Any input is appreciated. Thankyou.

stuck thermostat? failing temp sensor?
