I can confirm that. In this case, I'd actually lean toward a standpipe or dummy plug o-ring failure. An air test would be my next step.

My schedule right now is unpredictable and busy. I currently have a brand new OEM stand pipe in my parts collection. Although they’ve both been done, I did the drivers side last time. I’m going to pull the passenger side valve cover and oil rail next, inspect the stand pipe and dummy plug, check all the ball nipples for excess play. It seems if an injector top seal has failed, the ball seal on the oil rail also likely
failed. I’ll start there.
