I have the opportunity to buy this 1932 truck. There appears to be no filler in the body, except for where the top insert has been filled. It has a 9\" rear and 4 wheel disc brakes. The only thing I don't like is someone installed a 352 v8, with an automatic trans, probably a C6 (?).
Nice truck! I've never heard anything bad about the 352 and the C6 or C4 are both good transmissions, as far as I know.
Wish one of these trucks would find their way into my garage
A 352 isn't a common transplant choice, my guess it was done a really long time ago. It may have a C6 or could also have the older cruise-o-matic used before 1966. If it runs and drives good, embrace the classic FE and enjoy it. It will be a nice truck to go cruzin in.
That's unfortunate, but much better to find it now, rather than later. It's a major concern for me whenever checking out old rides. So many things could have been done over the years, at the time wasn't a big deal, but causes problems later when trying to buy/sell.
