At about 45k, I started noticing a slight growling noise coming from the rear on my 2018 F-350 SRW. I hoped it was my tires, but after just installing a new set that are whisper quiet, the noise is still there. Can only hear it at low speeds. I'm really hoping it's not the Dana M275. I saw another post where the bearing races were bad in one. Truck has towed 90% of its life but not driven hard. Diff/transfer case/trans fluids changed at 20k. Getting ready to change the diff fluid again at 50k so we'll see what everything looks like. Any other experiences with this?

You probably read my post on this. Sorry you are hearing a growing noise, my noise seemed to change over time but throttle input changed the sound depending on the speed I was traveling. When I drained my fluid it really didn't look all the bad, the metal that was suspended was very fine. I used a light and sloshed the oil around and could see the suspended metal. I had one side of the differential carrier bearing going bad. Good luck.
Me would change the fluid and send the old fluid out for a s oil sample
Good idea, I'm changing it soon and will do that. Will also use a very clean drain pan so I can check for metal. But I check the level at least yearly and the magnet is clean.

Yes I did see your post. Not comforting but manufacturing defects can happen on any type of equipment. My noise is constant, speed-related and does not change whether accelerating, decelerating or cruising.
