You really need a good scan tool to read codes. This will point you in a direction but rarely exactly diagnoses the problem. The water/coolant event and the bump event may point to a broken or corroded wire/connection.
Hopefully you see something obvious in the fuse box. Otherwise you may need more in depth analysis and wiring diagrams to.fix this.
Found the issue. PCM relay in the main fuse box seems to have a bad connection. No apparent water damage or anything. Can wiggle or press on the relay or pull on the fuse box while truck is running and the engine will die. After pulling the relay and inspecting it looks like one of the lugs in the slot for the relay has possibly come loose. It sits much lower down in the slot than the other three lugs. Gonna dig into and see what's up. What a pain in the ***....
Solved this one. I opened up the fuse box. What a pain that was. Like 6 clips that all have to be popped open simultaneously to crack the fuse box open. I searched all over youtube for a video of this on a 2017-2019 to figure out some tricks, but had no luck. Anyway, the PCM relay is right at the edge of front of the fuse box so I was able to stick my finger in there and push the sunken lug back up into the slot. I picked up a new relay from the dealer just in case and while I plugged the new relay in, I held my finger on the lug to keep it pressed up into place. Everything seemed to seat properly. Put it all back together and the truck runs perfect.
