M5od rebuild

Just finished pulling my m5od out of my 94 f150 I’m getting it rebuilt and want to do a complete overhaul on everything for the transmission. I just want to make sure I get everything so far I have the clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, trans mount, rear main seal, flywheel and new bolts shifter rebuild kit throwout bearing and slave cylinder and a Master cylinder. Is there any other seals gaskets or things that I should replace while I have it all torn apart ?

Make sure they put brass plugs in the top hat of the shifter when they rebuild that part.
That transmission is so easy to rebuild, I did mine.

I don’t see an actual rebuilt kit listed. Where did you get the overhaul kit for the transmission?

I had to get the parts that I needed, separate. I was able to take several from a second trans that I found at the UPullUPay.

I was curious only because I have the M5 I took out of my truck. It shifted good but leaked like a sieve. If rebuilding it wasn’t expensive then it might be worth doing so it’s ready to sell or put away in a corner.

Yes, if the hard parts are good, it's not that hard or expensive.
Now that I thing about it. I may have bought the bearings as a kit.i will see if I can find it a bit later. But it was 4 or 5 years ago. As for the leaking, probably the plugs on the top hat. The original ones are rubber. You can get some bread freeze plugs to fix that. Other seals will bribable help as well.
There are aa few press on/ cut off parts but nothing overly complicated. I have a step by step document I can send later as well

No rush. That is a very low priority project.

I don't know if you want to go "all in" but Rock Auto offers a seal, bearing, and synchro kit for the transmission. I got a clutch kit off of rock auto and it came with the throw out bearing, clutch, and pressure plate. It is better to replace the transmission mount and engine mounts at the same time, just a heads up.

If I had it all torn apart, I'd replace the 2nd and 3rd gear synchros, just because they seem to take the biggest beating...
