Third Brake light video camera

My brother and I have developed a bracket and harness assembly that allows us to install a camera into the third brake light of our super duties. We can do this for the 1999-2007 7.3 and 6.0s (doesn't have to be a diesel engine obviously) as well as the OBS trucks at least from 94-97. We can also do this for the 99-2007 Chevy and GMC truck but obviously that's not what this forum is about. Below are pictures of a few of our designs and what they look like. To be clear most of these pictures were taken during the prototype stage and are not current. I'm making this post to see if there is interest in a product like this and if so I can provide more information about these products and what they look like in their finished and polished state.

My main questions are:
1. Are people interested in purchasing this?
2. If so, would you like it sold as a package deal with the digital mirror screen replacement or as a stand alone unit. Meaning just the camera built into a lens that you can hook up to any screen or wire up as a backup camera and not an always on display.

If there is enough interest in this we will develop these more seriously and work with any of you folks to try to make our trucks that much nicer. We could sell DIY kits so you could assemble the lens yourself if that is your thing. Buying the camera itself before any lenses or additional parts is about 60 bucks. The mirror and camera combo can be had for 300 bucks but goes on sale for 200 somewhat regularly. Just to give you an idea of price range.

The main crux of this product is a 3d printed bracket as well as some modifications made to the lens itself. Normally our super duty trucks come with 3 lights in the 3rd brake light. 2 white lights and red break light (they are all incandescent). We alter to lens to put the camera where the original brake light is and wire up a custom harness to add an additional brake light. This means there are now 4 lights in the lens so everything is symmetrical and balanced. One quick note is this does require you to use LEDs for the bulbs as the incandescent get to hot and will melt the plastic bracket and the camera itself. Ask me how I know haha. We are currently working on a better version with a strong heat resistant plastic so you can use incandescent so we will have that down the road.
