Those with Trailersaver BD5F hitches

Have you seen these braces they recently came out with? They sit against the main beam and support it and take out the play. Only takes about 10 min to install them. Towed with them today and I can feel a difference and it's quieter.

No, this is the first that I have heard of or seen them. It looks like they may also help to extent the life of the vertical rods and the moving head guide tubes a bit too.
I like that idea and it seams simple enough to work well.
i will be looking them up today, thank you!

Yes I definitely think they will extend the life of the vertical rods. They are slotted where they mount so when the surface wears you just loosen them and adjust them tight again. It looks like the new hitches come with them but they sell them as an accessory if you bought your hitch before they came out.

Would you take a picture from a little further back so it shows the whole system?

I did look at the hitch, but it's not clear to me for some reason:

Okay, It's a "shim" for the main support beam?

I can't visualize this on the truck.

Not mine but I got this pic off the website, hopefully it'll clear things up. I tried circling the parts I am referring to in yellow.

I have had mine installed about 2 months now. Noticed I no longer have the clunking noise when pulling out. I also see the price has went up $50 since I purchased.
