I have 2019 Lariet, does not have factory ambient lighting but has the plugs under the dash. Started gathering parts to add them. I understand there is some wiring to add them to the door but do the Lariet door panels already have the cut outs for the lights or do they need to be modified to add them? I am on the road for work so not near the vehicle for another week or so.
Here are some examples of the door panel lighting location. It’s reasonable to think the Lariat panels are all fitted for them since they come standard on Lariat Ultimate and up. 17-18 had multicolor lights but if I remember right it was blue only starting in 19 but it could’ve been 20. When doors are open they turn red automatically.
I just went out to look and can say my ‘19 Lariat doesn’t have cutouts for any of the lights seen in the post above.
It doesn’t have any deadheaded wire connectors under the dash that are obvious to see either. Mine was ordered with the Lariat Value Package, no push button start, etc.
Ya i just checked mine and also same story, it does not have any cutout for the door lights. anyone modify theirs or everyone just swapping them out for different panels?
