Noisy power steering pump

Hi all I am at 138,000 in my 2014. I'm just starting to get a little growl from I think my power steering pump. Anybody have a similar experience. How long do I have before I must change it? Thanks in advance

what are you using for fluid. My 2019 f-450 takes this stuff.

How's the fluid level? They start to make noise when they're starving for oil.

Don't think so. I don't think I've ever added fluid. I have to check my log, I don't think changing the fluid is on my maintenance schedule.

If you want to do a flush, go to this post here where I described what I did with my F350 and there's also diagrams for the lines. I gotta assume your 14 F350 dually more than likely has to be the same.

So far with 312,000 miles, I've drained my power steering reservoir once using a turkey baster to suck the fluid out of the tank, and refilled with Mercon LV. Pump is still quite with no issues.
