Rear Differential Fluid Change
Just changed the read differential fluid on 2016 F150 3.5 ecoboost. This is our work truck and has been on a lot of gravel roads. The fluid came out brown and milky (water in the fluid). Discovered the vent hose was plug at the top from driving on so many gravel roads and not allowing condensation out of the differential. This is the fifth truck (mostly ford, dodge and toyota) that I have worked on that has had a clogged breather vent. All the trucks before the 2016 F150 had oil forced out of seals except this 2016, no leaks, just condensation.

You can buy a breather tube extension online that puts it up near the tail lamp housing. Probably wouldn't be too hard to fabricate one yourself out of vacuum line. You could even use a cheap fuel filter on the end for it to breath through.
