Good Morning. I have a 2022 4x4 F350 Dually Diesel Platinum that I bought 2 years ago to tow a 24000 lbs Toy Hauler. We have not towed a lot yet but are getting ready to start to in September. The truck has about 29000 miles on it now and needs tires. It came with Michelins. This is my first heavy duty truck, so I do not have any frame of reference. The Michelins seems fine, but did not last very long, compared to the Michelins on my F150. Looking for recommendations for tires, that might ride better, be quieter, and or last longer. BTW, I live in NC, so Snow is a rare issue for me. Rain/dry performance are the priority. Appreciate your thoughts.
Kenda at2. Ride better, 3 times more grip. Wont last as long. I prefer tires that grip. Im usually good about rotating drw's, but any drw can eat the fronts if you drive that way. I replace every 30-40k as well. Avoid 50-80k rated tires like the plague.
Get a 4wd tire, for a 4wd truck.

I recommended Falken Wildpeak A/T3W for my cousin's F-250 6.7L and he's got nearly 80k miles on them now and will replace them this fall. EXCELLENT tires. I had the A/T4W version on my F-250 and they were excellent as well and still had 16/32nd of tread left after nearly 20k miles. I sold them just because I wanted something different, but you cannot beat those Falken A/T tires. Smooth as glass on the highway, comfy sidewalls, tougher than a box of nails, stick to the road like a cat on carpet. You just can't beat them.
