I've been looking around for a truck for a few months and found a 2003 NF-155. Does anyone out there know what these are worth? This one seems to be in decent shape. I'm going to try and look at it today. I've been on KBB and Edmunds but neither have this option listed.
I've been Googling and Binging but can't find any links that would give me a value. From what the guy is saying it sounds like it may need to have the spider gear spacers replaced, clicking noise in the rear end. Not a major job but still something to take into consideration. I'm still trying to make arrangements to go see it and take it for a ride to see how much and how loud the noise is. I've found the whole rebuild kit for around $300.
It looks like just a trim package on a basic Supercrew. If you're a fan of No Fear products it might have extra value. On the other hand some people might not want "No Fear" on their trucks. It doesn't look like much to me. Just a brand trying to take advantage of the F-150's popularity. I'm not really a brand-oriented person though. Good luck with it.
Yeah, looks like that to me too. Something Ford just gave to a third party to put some cosmetic do dads on. I guess, from what I'm reading, they "made" only 155 of them. Not sure why but I guess there was some reason. I don't even know who or what "No Fear" is. I'm an old retired buy who buys his jeans at Sam's Club, LOL. The truck just looked like it was in decent shape for the year and thought I'd take a look.
I'd look at 2003 Supercrew's in the same condition for pricing and add a couple of thousands to it and go from there. Also depends how much you want it ?
So it's just another F 150 some jackleg decided to throw his stink on and call it something special so they can alleviate naive people from their wallet contents, lol ok.
If it is in good shape, I would buy it for book value
The NO FEAR badging adds no value
Now, if it said FX4 and had beefier springs / positrack axle, you might pay a bit extra
