2000 Excursion Limited - V10. Does anyone happen to know the brake line diameter, overall length and type of flaring is used, specifically for the long piece that runs to the rear. I would prefer to buy the new line before I remove the leaking one.
Inline tube sells them in stainless. I redid my 2003 using them a couple years back. Worked great, but their splice is in a different spot than the OEM factory line on the long one going to the back, so you have to use theirs from the distribution box all the way up front and not to the splice spot. Outside of the splice being in a different spot their kit was a perfect replacement, replaced all the lines with minimal fuss.
The 2001 I used copper refrigeration tubing to replace that line, just because I had a spare roll at the time and didn't want to order anything. I forget the line size, it was several years ago. Quarter inch maybe? Should be easy to look up.
Honestly I'd just order the complete set from inline if I had to do it again. Was very reasonably priced, i.e. cheap.
