We have two 2006 Navigators. One we purchased in 07 and the second a couple weeks ago after the accident. I am going after an 06 Eddie Bauer Expedition Saturday for parts. Our original Navigator has been an excellent car. It tragically was hit by an uninsured driver on July 11th. Broke the bottom ball joint, crushed the fender and raped the driver’s door. It also broke two of the three tabs off the left HID headlight. The car skidded to a stop on three wheels and a lower control arm. No one was hurt in the accident. The car did its job, abs and roll stability control screaming all the way. My daughter was able to keep it in the safety lane with only three wheels and out of opposing traffic. I will rebuild our original Navigator and give the second one to my daughter. Alas the Expedition will be sacrificed as a parts donor. 😀
