I bought a OEM trailer brake control for a 2025 F250 XL and try to program it through forscan activated in IPC trailer gain and trailer brake control and it still won't work. Does anybody have any recommendations on how to get it to work very much appreciate it.
So after many hours researching it I figured it out I had to go in to TRM (as built format) and change one number in 791-01-01 in second set of numbers i changed it from 0 to 1 and pressed write the at bottom of screen I pressed write all and followed the instructions and then it started working I also had to buy the one year license because I couldn't get it to work off free trial license

I was just wondering what changes need to be made to activate the ITBC? I have never used forscan before so I don’t even know where to start haha.

 

On mine i went to ipc and enabled trailer brake and trailer gain then you git to push write after you enable them yhen went back to modules and went in trm (as built format and at the bottom of screen you will see load all press it then at top of screen you should have numbers 791-01-01 mine numbers were 0100 0100 11ad on second set i changed it to 0101 then i pressed write all at bottom of screen and mine started working
