edit - thanks for the replies. I was just confused as the part number on the switch was for a pressure switch, not brake. I just pulled the leads and the brake lights didn’t work so I came to the (obvious) conclusion it’s a brake switch.
I’m trying to figure out what part this is. Some say brake pressure switch, others say brake light. The prongs failed and are squirting brake fluid. Lost all brake function. The brake lights still activate even with it leaking so I’m leaning towards brake pressure switch. Previous owner put in disks up front so would it be for the abs? I’m not sure what part I need to order for this. Thanks in advance!
new chineseium ones from the parts store have a bad rep. Many folks say to buy one from a Harley Davidson dealer.
Everything I have seen is to ditech the psi switch because they all leak over time and replace it with ones that work off the brake pedal arm like modern cars & trucks.
You will have to make a bracket to hold the switch and run the wires inside to the switch.
Just note the switch comes normally open and closed depending how the switch is mounted.

If you lost all brakes when that failed, you have something more seriously wrong than a leaking switch. The purpose of the dual master is to maintain some braking if one circuit fails. I have never seen a proportioning valve with a brake light switch on it, but since that isn't a Ford part no telling how they designed it. The proportioning valve if it is designed and working correctly has a shuttle valve in it, if one circuit fails the shuttle valve will close off that circuit and prevent complete loss of brakes. Generally, if there is a switch on it, it is for a brake warning light. Dual circuit brakes usually have a mechanical brake light switch on the brake pedal. It is possible that the proportioning valve you have was never meant to be used on a street vehicle.
There are lots of threads on here on how to add a mechanical switch to the brake pedal.
