New Old Ford Guy
So I've been on a classic Ford kick for the last few months

I've recently picked up the following...
'76 F100 - (aka BB) - black with a 390 4bbl rv cam and positrac 3.73 rear (2wd) - fun truck!! (BB for Black Beauty or Burnout B#*ch)
'76 F350 (aka Frankenstein) - red with a flatbed. "Frankenstein" b/c the seller took a f350 wrecker cab, engine & trans and mounted it on a f250 highboy frame (4wd), it's now my farm truck.
'74 F600 (aka Clifford) - red with a dump bed. 330HD 4 speed trans 2 speed rear (2wd)
Also, although not a truck, I had been lucky enough to receive my granddad's '65 289 mustang coupe a few years ago, so that's now 4 Fords in the family!!
I like to work on my own vehicles as much as possible, so I'm excited and hopeful this is the best place for me to gain knowledge and make relationships. Any feedback and direction is appreciated.
Here's my present focus.
1 - Getting the F600 on the road SAFELY! Powertrain seems strong. Engine, trans, driveline all functions soundly. Will be checking/changing all fluids. So safety includes brakes and wheels/tires. Found an online seller of new 22.5" white steel wheels to replace the split ring 20" wheels, and have purchased new 10r22.5 tires all around. Found an online seller of the hydrovac brake booster and plan on getting it this week, just in case they get hard to find. Seller of truck had put new master cylinder, brake lines and wheel cylinders recently so brakes should be strong with new hydrovac. Taking the old wheels off truck this week, so I'll be inspecting the entire brake system more closely. I plan to use this truck on my property with an occasional trip to the rock/mulch yard 10 miles down the road, so I definitely want to be able to haul a load AND stop safely.
2 - Upgrade the suspension on the F350 "Frankenstein" and do a thorough service.
3 - Exterior beautification on the F100. Otherwise this truck is set up real nice, not perfect, but real nice!
Long winded, sorry, but excited to be here!!
Cheers!
