From one ECM to the next one. Otherwise it will never start. Someone claims it can be bypassed. However they refuse to respond🙄.

Forscan can program PATS in vehicles in your model year range. But it is complicated and many users get tripped up. You will need a paid Forscan license (about $30) and then learn how to use Forscan.

I have never done this and reading the various forum posts shows how difficult it can be....but it is possible if you follow instructions and use the recommended Forscan adapter (about $130).
