Curious who else out there has a TCM (shifter assy) on supposed backorder?
Originally told July 10th, then the 14th, and now today was told July 26 to be released from supplier.
I can confirm your dealer is not lying to you. One of my customers has been waiting well over a month for his. I forget the last update but I'll look in the morning. Officially it's a GSM-gear shift module

It's doesn't surprise me I guess. Just frustrating, especially since I have to keep calling them. GSM makes more sense. Though they told me TCM.
Passenger running board doesn't always deploy when passenger door is opened. Example. Pulling up to store to drop off the Mrs. she opens her door and slides out because board didn't deploy. Radio quits playing, only comes back on if the you change to another station. No GPS signal on center display. Low battery power message on center display. Wipers swipe every time truck is started when left in automatic wiper mode. Mysterious electric shock noise from left front of dash. Although it seems to have quit doing that, for now anyways.
The main 12v or the accessory one under the rear seat? Both have been checked. I've even checked myself. But after reading about all the problems I'd already thought about just replacing them with good ones myself 😁
