As long as all the oils meet the ratings, there really is no reason you CAN'T mix them. It's not like its going to gel and clog up.

No he's not crazy, mixing the oil's he did wouldn't matter. They are all within spec of recommended oils. And 600 miles after usage, I would think, wouldn't be enough wear and tear or degrading to prove much.

But then again, he has a bullet proof Duramax........... ha....ha.....ha....

Exactly the API requires cross compatibility in the specs....
