missing at idle
hey guys i'm new to this forum...i'd appreciate any input you may have...i have a 97 F250 LD....4.6...91,000 miles....i recently had my truck into the shop because it was knocking under load..the mechanic changed the fuel filter/plugs/cleaned out the EGR ports (which he said were clogged and causing the knock).......after having left there my truck now runs good cold, but when its fully heated up it wants to miss intermittently at idle (like at a red light)....acceleration is good and it runs fine at a moving speed....i'm planning to talk to the mechanic monday but thought i'd post it anyway.....thanks!

Hi and welcome to FTE 
Has the service engine soon light come on yet? If so, scan it and it will tell youwhat is going on.
It could just be a vacuum leak or it's just time for a tune up.
