overnight interal carb leak
Heres my deal, New rebuilt holley 4bbl. stock for 85 5.8l 4v.Installed it and ran no problem.Overnight noticed gas odor and checked inside the carb and saw standing gas on intake.I thought float level must be too high, but checked out ok.Needle valves not stuck.Is there a way it could be getting too much fuel pressure causing to unseat the float?It has mechanical fuel pump .I dont have a gauge to check pressure but will soon.By the way, is a lot of pressure release from the gas cap normal? Time to drain the oil!. Thanks
