Coolant Pressure Gauge

I saw a few threads on here of coolant pressure sensors being threaded into the degas bottle to keep them out of the coolant flow.
Has that worked out or did the sensors eventually blow out of their plastic threads.
Is there a better way or location?

I need a new degas bottle anyway. I went with a Mishimoto Aluminum Bottle with a Pressure sensor port already on it.

I've had one installed in the plastic tank for about a year and another for about 6 months. Neither have loosened, but I did notice the plastic threads don't seal perfectly.
Mine leak a very small amount of air. Overnight it wasn't enough to change the pressure on my tester @ 13psi.
