94 F250 XLT 5.8l 351W. I have a fuel pressure gauge with an adapter that threads on to the schrader valve but it doesn't seem to be reaching far enough into the schrader valve to depress the "plunger". I get no reading on the gauge at KOEO or KOER. I searched the forum for this issue but couldn't find a thread. I've got the impression this is a known challenge but I haven't been able to find the solution. Someone give this newbie some knowledge.

Reason: misspelling
I had the same issue with a rental fuel pressure test kit. I unscrewed the shraeder valve 2-3 turns. This allowed the nipple
in the test kit hose to make contact with the valve to open it.
You can also just remove the Schrader valve and test the pressure
Even my expensive Snap-On gauge I often have trouble
My expensive gauge is adjustable as to how far the Schrader valve gets depressed
Even so, I constantly have to adjust it all the way up to depress the Schrader valve fully
Common problem, just like the tire valves on my Mercedes, it's hell to get air into them
