I realize that so many like those extended cab trucks, but for a regular cab to be obsolete is upsetting. I've got a '92 F150 and soon it will be time to replace it. I absolutely refuse to get an extended cab truck. I don't want a short box and I don't want a long bed with the extended cab. Do you all think that the demand for ext. cab trucks is so great that a reg. cab is a thing of the past? If I ask any dealer in my area about reg. cab fords they roll their eyes with disgust knowing they've got their work cut out for them in trying to find one with a long bed. One buddy of mine had to abandon Ford and get a dodge because no Ford dealer within 100 miles could find him what he wanted. Oh well, I just feel I had to get that out. Thanks
Never thought I'd like a extended cab but I don't think I'd go back to regular cab. I havn't paid much attention lately but I still see a lot of regular cabs, I'm surprized your having problems finding one.

What if you used the Ford website, built what you wanted online, then clicked on the Find A Dealer button? Maybe that would be the easier way to go.
I don't mind an extended cab, I perfer regular though. What I really don't like is the 4 door pickups with no bed. Having a 3 foot bed totally does away with the purpose of having a pickup, at that point why not just get a sedan.
