So the McGard site says 24205 locks fit my 02 F250 super duty. NO! those are the long tapered lug nuts. I have aluminum rims with the short flat-faced lug nuts. Anyone know the proper McGard number for these? Ugh.
Thanks for the reply. As I said, I consulted the McGard site and it came back with a cone seat recommendation of the 24205 which was also wrong. I don’t trust McGard to give a proper answer. My aluminum rims do NOT have a cone seat like the ones I bought or the other number you came up with. If someone has a set with a number they know works, I’m all ears.
Amen John! I am going to be doing some traveling, just looking to reduce potential hassles. Inferno, thanks for editing your original post, I only reached out here after doing some of my own research and buying a useless product…. Trying to attach some photos showing what I have. Thanks, I understand the flat lug nut.
I think my memory is going. I thought the wheels still had a conical surface within the hole bore. I haven't seen any wheel locks that look like they would work. I thought I saw some from ford but when I went to check fitment; said they wouldn't fit,
