I guess I'm lucky in that I don't have to worry about seeing those. I reckon it's a benefit of having a paid subscription.

I used to have a paid subscription but the reason I had one was to go the Club which is where we talked politics. That was banned last year. And now the Club is a ghost town...

So I never renewed my subscription... I can deal with the BS advertising... no problems at all. I can still send and receive PMs, just have to clean them out more with the smaller message capacity.

Prior to being a paid member, never knew about the Club, as I spent all my time here in the 6.7 section and sometimes in the 99 to 16 Super Duty section, like I do now.

Once I found out about the Club, I joined with a silver membership and away I went. Had a blast in the Club talking about things that are not allowed here... including 2A topics.

IMO, they should have split it off into two sections for the Club: one political and one non-political because I get it... not everyone wants to talk politics so folks that did not, they could frequent the non-political section.

With that said, we labeled our threads accordingly, so if folks didn't want to talk politics or get offended, triggered or whatever, all they had to do was "change the channel or walk away" and avoid those certain threads.

But the powers that be decided to have a non-political Club so that's when I decided to not renew my membership.

Truth be told, I've made friends in the Club and procured their phone numbers... I made a "Disgruntled former FTE Club members" group text.

I've made a lot of friends over the years here, have learned a lot here in the 6.7 section as well as the 99 to 16 SD section as well so I am here because I love talking truck stuff and busting ***** here... but it would be more fun with old Club. But it is what is...
