Locating glow plug controller

A square box looking thing on the intake manifold. When you take the lid off you see the relay, the box under that is the controller. Follow the glow plug harness to the relay. Should be on the right (from the front) rear of the intake manifold.

On my 88 f-250 the controller was located behind the air cleaner in the "how do I get to that thing hole". It has a cover on it that is square on one side and rounded on other side. The cover is removed by squeezing the sides together and releasing the tabs. All the parts are visible and what a bear to get to. You should disconnect the battery wires to work on it.
