EGR Valve
Hey, the newbie here again. I finally got my 82 F150 smogged and registered, so it's ready for work. The mechanic told me that the EGR valve is bad and needs replaced. How big of a job is it to replace, what is the best supplier, and what precautions do I need to take when changing it out? Thanks in advance for help.

Should be fairly easy to replace, should come off with two bolts on the passenger side by the exhaust manifold. Unless the bolts are frozen. Try taking it off first, and if it doesn't come, run your truck hard to heat up the manifold, then try to take the bolts off. (also try not to burn yourself)
