Decisions, Decisions

Good afternoon everyone,
I am looking to get a new to me truck and have a hard time making decisions. I am looking for the most reliable long term option. Please note gas milage is not a concern at all. It would be used for light towing under 5k and moving items like wood, motorcycles, 4 wheeler etc. I am really only interested in 8 foot bed options. Trucks I am considering include:

2015 forward f150 supercab 5.0
2015 forward f150 supercab 3.5
2017 forward f250 supercab 6.2
2017 forward f250 crew cab 6.2

Please let me know your thoughts thanks so much for everyone's time and opinions.

Only the F 250's in your list might have an 8' bed and they will be contractor specials only, so that narrows down your selection. I have seen 8' beds on F 150 supercabs from the 09-14 year models but they were like unicorns, special orders.

Good morning, thanks so much for your reply. It seems they made some f150 supercab 8 foot box up until 2023 however they seem very rare. There is a dealership near me with a 20 5.0 and a 21 3.5. I was surprised as well I didn't know these existed. I was really leaning towards the 250 until I found out these existed. Do you think the rare factor makes it so I should lean towards these or is the 6.2 superior?

6.2 is a good engine but VERY thirsty. best i ever say from my 2014 f250 4x4 supercab was 12 mpg local and 14 mpg on a 600 mile trip to ocean city maryland from central jersey.
the 2021 F150 V8 4x4 crew cab on the other hand averages 17-19 mpg local driving with average speed of 30 mph, and the one time i took it on a road trip i saw 25 mpg over 100 miles cruise set at 55.
the 5.0 V8 easily handles a 12,000 lb skid steer on a 2500 lb trailer.
