Budget =plenty, . However., interested in the used market, 08' and earlier no slides.
Gas only, prefer 6.8 , leaning towards a E450 However would definitely look
at a e350.
found a nice 'in the pictures ' 21' rear bed, chevy, it looked pretty nice, but..chevy
I would consider shorter than 24' if it checks all the boxes, largest water storage, black tank available.

I suggest that your odds of finding good support for the drivetrain and cab are with Ford. Lots of E-series motorhomes/utility/moving/etc. trucks on the road. May as well get the heavier E-450 front axle while you're doing it.
