Energy Suspension trans mount
https://teamenergysuspension.com/pro...mission-mount/
Says on their website an application for 99-07 F-250-550 Super Duty along with some other similar-period Ford vehicles, but curiously they don't specify where it's for a 2wd or 4wd application.
I ordered one off of Rock Auto and also a stock replacement one. One of these pyramid/triangle shaped ones that looks like an exact replacement for the one on the truck now:

The centering holes for the cross member bolts/studs on both mounts appear to line up at about 2.3", but the Energy Suspension one is a tiny little bit taller overall...maybe 1/4" or so. Is that enough to cause problems with the driveline angle or how the motor sits on it's mounts? My RWD truck has a rather long (like 8+ feet) 2-piece driveshaft and the front shaft and u-joint coming off the trans has almost no working angle at all to it. I'll take some pics of the actual parts when I get home but as for now I don't have the actual parts sitting in front of me.
On the Rock Auto catalog they specify different trans mounts for 2wd and 4wd applications. 4R100/ZF6 doesn't seem to matter, nor does 5.4/6.8/7.3 engine. (The motor mounts are different obviously) and I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here. Got a leaking rear trans seal and have a hunch that original trans mount is part of the problem. Replacing the seal didn't fix anything and the driveline was just redone and balanced from a driveline shop so I'm pretty sure that ain't the problem either.
