New Issue (for me)

So, driving to the market this morning, my brakes were very grabby at low speed. First time doing this. Anybody experience this?

Truck is a 2022 F150 XLT V8 5.0L RWD with 17,800 miles.

Mine will act like that for a couple of stops if I wash it and don't drive it for a couple of days. A little rust on the rotors I believe but it cleans itself up and works correctly after a couple of applications. Don't know if this would fit your situation, has it been wet and set a while?

yup, rusty rotors and not using it for a few days. my 21 does the same thing.

Thanks for the replies. I live in So. Cal so no rusty calipers, but she does sit a lot. Just need to run it more I guess.

Yea it’s somewhat common to have that happen to all brands when it’s wet and the brakes haven’t heated up. I think the pads absorb moisture and need to be used enough to dry the pads out.
