Hi All,
Changed my master cylinder and booster last week and started and drove about 300’ and like someone turned key off, there is no power to IP so fuel cutoff solenoid won’t trip.
fuel heater, and water in fuel sensor work
checked fuses…good
checked all relays …good
looked for inertia shut off, doesn’t have one or someone took it off
changed key lock cylinder, it was worn out anyway.
anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance
mechanical fuel pump, so you do not have an inertia switch. try running power from battery positive directly to FSS terminal on injector pump. if it starts and runs, then you know you need to start looking for injector pump power failure.
Do you have 12VDC for horn, headlights, etc. or is the entire truck dead? My Bullnose truck died and I found that the wiring harness had an OPEN. Check it out.
After all that…got it running,
maxi fuse at position 11 shot…in every diagram I saw it was unused,
1st thing I’ll do is check power to fss, rather than lift pump replacement and new key cylinder
