Do we still have a Ford dealer that gives us a discount?
A couple of weeks ago I replaced my AC compressor (leaking) and a couple of other ac parts. I managed to break off the handle for the dipstick, and the handle by itself won't stay in with the blow by. Turns out neither will a Dorman. Too skinny and the bends in the stick aren't enough. I did modify the bends to hold but that was after I spread three quarts of oil on I70. It did take a couple of hundred miles.
I am ready to buy the real thing and a couple of other items.
On the good side my undercarriage won't rust on the right side.
I didn't know we had a dealer that gave discounts. I have used several online Ford dealers that have reasonable discounted prices. I usually have to google the part number and pick one that has the best shipping prices and total price.
I know there's been a ford dealer offering parts...I think they are Appleford, bear lake. I think they have change names several times throughout the years., Sunrise Ford is another good one. I'd have to think about it for others.
What about Riffraff or diesel o-rings? they sell OEM parts, more so Riffraff for an item like that
Thanks all for the info and links. Sometimes I forget about Clay and Bob, and Bob's Orings gets the sale. I keep it in Colorado when I can.
Back when White Bear was Tousley I think FTE got a pretty good discount but darn that was a few years ago. Maybe a few few years ago.
Thank you Bob at Diesel Orings. Yes the new one is thinner, but better markings and better/tighter fit. How can such a simple item cause so much grief?
Of course Riff Raff is great also, but shipping much faster from Weldona.

I have ordered form both, and both are pretty GTG in my opinion.
