Swapping suspension

I’d like to lower my 94 f250 from a 4in lift to a 2-2.5in lift, preferably not rough country like what’s on it now. Rides like crap, bumpy as ever and the steering wander after 55-60mph sucks. What’s y’all’s set up and how did you go about the steering wander? Looks like the previous owner kept the stock single stabilizer on the truck after he lifted it.

My steering wander was pretty bad, but an alignment, and replacing the awful steering box did the trick. Its nice and smooth now, turning wise. Did the PO put the correct pitman arm on it? Did they install drop brackets for the axle? TTB are very particular when you lift them. Any leaf sprung TTB is going to be awful ride quality, new shocks might help. They helped me.

I have no idea about the pitman arm, and I should’ve mentioned it is solid axle swapped. It looks like everything was swapped over as it should be unless I just have no idea what I’m looking at. Only thing I see is the stabilizer that’s definitely not a part of the rough country set up, looks stock to me. Regardless i’d like to lower it some, would I have to replace both the shocks and the leaf springs?

Coil swap is the only way to make these trucks not ride like a one ton with leaf springs in the front.
