Time for new battery

October will mark the 3-year mark of ownership of my 2022 F-150 XLT. It came with an H6 battery and suffers from the "shut everything down" in the name of self-preservation. Looking to replace it with a new H7 interstate battery from Costco. What is the process for me to swap it out? I'm not talking about physically disconnect, swap, reconnect, but more like anything above and beyond that that Ford has built into these trucks.

TIA

I've done a few batteries and I'm not a Ford tech, but it's just remove and install. They'll probably want you to disconnect the IBS sensor pig tail then disconnect the negative cable. Have yet to have any issues from removing batteries and installing new ones on newer Ford trucks.

So I did a little more research, seems I've been charging my battery incorrectly. I'll try charging it properly from now on.

Also, It is required you reset the BMS after charging the battery or replacing it.
