Water Outlet Problems
A couple of weeks ago I broke one of the ported vacuum switches on the water outlet. I decided to replace both, as they look like crap and i had a few minutes. Well, of course the threads were beyond repair, so i finally got my new water outlet in and now I see that the plug in the front is not included in the new one. The one in the old one is fine. It works so good in fact that I can't get it out. This is on an '81 351W. I am letting it soak in P&B tonight, but does anyone know what I could use in the plugs place. If no one has any idea what I am talking about I will try and get some pics up.

You are refering to the plastic thermal vaccuum switch that screws into the water jacket at the front of the manifold? well, its metal base with plastic vacum fittings? thats what i am picturing, and i dont see what you couldnt just use a vaccuum cap of any sort on any extra outlets. also got to make sure you put the conections on the right ones, cause one is probably the supply, and the others open/close according to engine temp. Not sure if this helps. if not i reccomend pics.
