It will be interesting to watch your progression on this. I don't plan on selling this truck, as it's been really good to me, not to mention I love the body style (hated em' when they first came out). The truck has a branded title, as it was originally totaled due to body damage and front end, so reselling it would be a bitch anyway... I guess I'm in it for the duration...

Wow, some of those really have serious corrosion on them! I'm wondering what mine looks like in there... My truck is from Washington, and I live in Oregon, so pretty wet here too... Wow, that's about all I got. Looks like some of them need to be replaced for real. I'm going to try to find a similar truck as mine to grab all that stuff out of at a salvage yard. Problem is, they are hard to find these days! Either peopkle keep fixing them or they hide them when they die...

My apologies for the numerous repost.
was supposed to be different pictures.
yes my fusebox worst ive seen.
. First layer 1 metal strip corroded into 2 pieces.
connects between 5amp gem fuse#15. And 2 connections on gem and 1 wire to bolt on plug.
Wonder if this causing engine cutout.
not surprised 😒 the issues. Water pours in like I have the doors open. Going to pull the wipers and the cowl cover and hope I can see 👀 where this river is flowing in.

Basically every layer was pretty corroded.
vinegar soak seemed useless till I let it sit a while.
Another layer before

And after vinegar. Im a have to say this a legit
And after vinegar. Im a have to say this a legit "hack" i did follow with baking soda and water to neutralize any acidity

If you do pull pusebox layers apart.
I would take picture of fuse layout and remove fuses and holders ect. I did first time. This time. I left them in place.
easier but seemed to pull way more of them metal strips off each layer than if I had removed fuses and holders

Looks much better after some isopropyl alcohol and scrubbing. Going together in a minute. Fingers crossed 🤞
