5 Things Wrong With the 2025 Ford Super Duty

center console shifter yes
makes manually downshifting more intuitive
Blue cruise. Ford could do it now with software update. If you have the 360 and adative cruisr
I have keypad built in
I use it a ton.. in all our present and past ford's

The only thing that truly chaps my **** with my 25 is the collision assist going off randomly (thinking side beam pattern is too wide) and even when turned off, it reminds me every time I start the truck that it’s turned off. Bring on the software update, just got a AC system update yesterday on a AC system that works just fine, collision assist not so much…….
All Right I agree with most of the stuff How about bringing it up a Notch. I used to own a Ford F250 with a 5-speed on the floor. love that truck . Let's put the center console in with a stick 10 speed
While we're doing that . put a Manually four-wheel-drive shifter also in .
I had blue Cruise with my old 2022 f150 truck which was pretty cool . Paying for the service is kind of Pricey which I think is ridiculous
Be nice to have I guess.

You just haven't "discovered" them yet. LOL It sure beats running into the house to get the key when the doors are locked and you just need to grab something real quick.

Do you agree with his list?
Do you agree with his list?
Being a beta-tester for that one will be a gamble indeed given all that has happened involving global supply chains and less than reliable parts.
Saw the video back a few days, but didn't click it.
Really don't want to hear his rant about the truck I am still in the honeymoon stage with. 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe at some point I will be motivated to pick it apart? But even then, I've always been someone who is accountable for the decisions that I make, so it isn't like Ford (or Chevy or Ram or....) compelled me to purchase their product.
Assuming the 5 complaints weren't factory defects, of course. Those complaints absolutely would prompt a listen.

"Why would you want a console shifter in a [$100,000+] truck built to work?"
I fully understand and respect the view reflected above...I added the $100,000+ to the quotation.
Because most $100,000+ King Ranch/Platinum models aren't used solely for heavy work applications...as with mine! And I'd gladly pay $101,00+ for a King Ranch that offers a center console shifter with fold down option like the F-150 King Ranch. Plus you also get a fold down center console top that serves as a 'work' surface for writing, computing and eating! I guess Ford is finally going to offer a fold down console top in the 2026 Super Duty. But why not offer the center console shifter as a Super Duty option for those who want it? I believe the parts all exist...the one used in the F-150.
Why is one offered in the F-150? Presumably to make the interior more luxurious. That's certainly the path the interior of Super Duty trucks for the last 10+ years, too!
Think about it Ford.

on the F150 forums. The guys are changing the center console shifter with a Turn dial shifter like the Ford Explorer Totally stupid!! Never happy with what you have. Why would you not have a shifter at least you know and feel you're in that gear ! center Console shifter would be nice on a F250 or F350 But I like the column shifter its give you a little bit more room. you always need four cupholders
Ashtray takes one (save the lecture) so when the little lady is with me, we are one cup holder short

Don't even know the code that came with my 2024 F-350
