no need to apologize...but you're going to have to help us out...We could all share our experience with wipers not working and what part we replaced, but you might be wasting your money on that part...and nobody wants you to be wasting money.
makes sense! After looking at the parts involved with the wipers it's not cheap. So i understand why you want me to do a full detailed troubleshooting.
Does anyone know what sizes the all the fuses are? Since I’m probably am going to replace all of them and make my self a little fuse kit to put in my glove box. Since I don't have one, but it’s probably safe to have. But I’m going to order them online from a supplier.
Go to this thread in the red stick'ie dept at the top (of our forum) and get your scroll on. I've got a listing of all the fuses.....Found it. Skip the 1st part and scroll just a bit to Glass Tube Fuze. Go get a multimeter (even a cheap on from Harbor Freight is better then nothing. And get a simple power test light stick.

U tube school on how to use a multimeter. No shame in that.
thank you for the information and where to buy!
and im definitely gonna need youtube school. Lol
where can I get fuses for my truck? Since I called around yesterday about getting fuses and everywhere I called said that they don't carry any blown glass fuses since they are being replaced by todays automotive standards.
i think i might run to napa today after work. To see their selection of multimeters and stuff. And possibly I'll see if the manager is there to check the back. But yesterday he wasn't in and the employee told me they didn't sell them. But I'll run in today. Hopefully he is there.
Most auto parts stores "should" still carry them or can maybe order them. Farm And Ranch stores like (TSC), industrial supply house. Ace hardware. Home Depot, Lowe's.
Y'all skeering me talking about bad wiper motors now. Even a long string through the vent glasses to pull left and right would be better than them old vacuum wipers.

I bought a three sets of fuse adapters, plan is to swap over to flat modern fuses, for ease of replacement in a dark parking lot after something stops. I actually have plenty of glass fuse spares, and our Advance and NAPA stock them.
Might be other places, but 3 of these covers all in my fuse box. Round Glass Fuse Converter To Blade | eBay
just so i don't mess this up. Am i putting to prongs on the switch or the wiring harness?
To test just the switch, yes prongs on the switch connections, when you turn the switch on and off it should show that on the MM. Open and closing a circuit, that is why the audible one is nice.
As hard as it may to believe, sometimes the motors just go bad. I did a write up on how to replace with a 60$ Dodge Dakota wiper motor. Super cheap and super easy. Almost a direct swap
