Has anyone put headers in a 62 mine is a unibody I call it my Johnny Cash trk a 62 uniy, 88 302 with GT40 heads,c6 out of a 78-79 ford F150, only major change was the CPP 400 steering went for power steering. Can't seem to find headers for this combo all say no fitment for c6. order some flo tech 12103FH won't fit on drivers side collector is right on transmission, plus collector ube is hitting bolt on CPP gearbox. Any help out there??
Off topic, but I was considering adding power steering myself. I didn’t see one on the CPP website. What did you use?
Sorry took a couple of days. I put in the 400 series with an IDIDIT 30 tilt column. They have sets that will attach directly it says? to your column and that is my question you must have to cut the column and they supply the adapters and a rag joint. Mine was the same as my Falcon the spear of death it is physically attached to the gear box. Check these two out CPP5760PSK-OC, CPP5760PSK-AC both are supposed to work. I used this particular one as I had ordered the 400 series like I said but the box come damaged and missing the gear box CJ Pony sent me another gearbox and my original showed up 6 days later with an apology from USPS about the damage and seperation of packages, so as I had another I made the 400 work. As I stated it is offset to the right about 1/2 inch with truck jacked up I get full turn have to wait until I get motor run to make sure.
Finally found et of headers to fit the 62 Hedman got them from Summit 89470 apparently all the other shorties the collectors were 3inch the headers I found were right under my nose on my 91 Bronco.
