Saw this on another forum (thread started 5/31/25):
"My Ford dealership called yesterday. Said Ford factory notified them regarding my 2022 Ford Super Duty Tremor with 7.3L Godzilla. Said they needed to schedule my truck for a dive into the engine. Service advisor did not know exactly what was to be done, but thought the matter might have to do with the lifters. ... My truck goes into dealership on June 3rd. I guess we’ll find what’s up with the word from the Ford factory."
Anybody got any idea if accurate and know any specifics? Hopefully poster will update.
If I was a betting man, I would bet these lifters are made in china.
The lifters are not all made in the same place. They are supplied by various companies, including DDPM (who claims to have U.S.-made lifters), Mahle, Perfect Circle, Fed Mogul, and Melling.
