Interesting find here just browsing this morning and is cheap enough to just get a 5' piece to look at in person.
Just use it out past the fog lights, or maybe just as far as the centers of them, might even look better than just OK
and If I get it and don't like it, well that's OK too. Only $20. I'll find a use for it, like maybe on the flat face of my '77's rear bumper face.
Might be just the ticket for your project. I read the reviews and the thing that stuck out the most was that the folks that had the best success were the ones that emphasized the importance of doing the prep properly. Good luck to you!

It'll be here later this week, I'll post a picture of it against the factory grey color, I'll still give it a lot of thought. I was just surprised to find it in a grey, but it sounds to be near like the black, they even show it as step stuff. IF .... I try this on for looks, I'll take the bumper off the truck & into the shop & do it there where I can easier clean, degrease, dewax, & gently heat and wrap the stuff around at the hidden edges to "set" them (If this is like the black, it's stiff until heated, then folds, even "flops", easily, but when cooled again it stiffens again, it'll "hold the fold") .... then when it goes back on the truck .... the upper and lower bumper covers will further secure it.
I guess I'll see. It might be colored a bit too light? The worst that can happen is I don't like it. It'll come off really easy with the same soft heat gun, or even just a hair dryer .... if I actually put it on.
06-15-2025: Well, it came today. It was this evening, was raining so I didn't bother to go out and try getting a photo with it against the bumper but it's gonna be a very near match except for the pebble grain texture. The stock picture above from Amazon is pretty accurate though. Maybe tomorrow.
06-16-2025: It's pretty close to the factory color front bumper of the '07, it picks the light up differently though. With the paper backing, it measured 0.025" where the black I've used so long measures 0.023", so it's at least as thick.
Well, I went to use a piece of the grey above today (not on my bumper), found out the adhesive on it sucked big time, not even sure it would stick at any speed. Glad it was cheap. Might just live with it or get it painted again.
