Level Kit Reviews

Would love to get feedback on what leveling kit you went with and how you like it?
I understand there are kits all the way from just blocks to full Carli systems.
Would love to find that sweet spot between even slight ride quality improvement and price.

Please save your comments if you don't approve of leveling these trucks or believe you can't improve Super Duty ride quality at all.

Here's my stock set up!

I've had the OUO(now S&B) steady track, with carli coils and pintop shocks. Drove great, rode pretty well. This truck I wish to be 1" lower than the Carli allows. I will be doing the Steady track but with fox 2.0s I think, to save a little money and then Icon coils and shocks later.

I don’t have a level but the 5” BDS lift with fox 2.0 shocks rides better than stock.

Has anyone used the 1.5" spacer blocks in the front? I'm not looking for level but would like to lessen the rake a bit.

That's likely the most common method of lifting these trucks. Tons of people use them. I had them on my 2017 for the same reason you stated. I still towed often. The spacers just add space between the coil spring and either the upper or lower spring perch. So, the spring rate and ride stay the same. It will change the geometry a little, I'd recommend a caster shim adjustment. You can buy these on Amazon for $30+$40 for each side.

I want to raise the front about 1.5" too, just to have a little less rake but I plan on using new coil springs. Haven't nailed down the brand I want yet. But I'll get a new set of shocks for the front and a set of caster shims, just to keep it all nice and tight.

I went with the BDS 2" puck with Fox 2.0's, track bar bracket, and caster shims. Can't say that I noticed much difference in ride quality. I did notice the handling improved over stock. Steering was terrible! Leveled it out perfectly IMO. Still have slight rake 1/2"-3/4"

I haven't found anything at 1.5" but the spring blocks. In my case 2 inch may be too much. Yeah I know a half an inch... It makes a difference. Could those spring blocks I posted earlier be installed with spring compressors and not remove the springs? There seems to be a whole lotta stuff that has to be disconnected to drop the axle far enough.

I did the spacers back in 2015 and 2017. Both those trucks got the death wobble,
On my 2020, and my current 2023, I went with the ReadyLift Coil spring kits ( Coils, shocks, track bar)
Current kit is Coils, Falcon shocks, Track bar relocate, shims, also has dual Falcon front stabilizers and ReadyAir dual airbags on rear axle.
I really like this set up and currently pushing around 52,000 miles with it. The dual air bags replace your Overload springs ( on F350 trucks) So it softens the unloaded ride, But has plenty of lift when you air up for the heavy loads.

The Level kits is $1200-$1300 and the Dual Airbag with on board compressor is around $1800 I use these airbags several times a week, Since I commute empty, But haul horses several times a week after work.

Not likely (on the coil compressors). But it's really simple to pull the springs - just unbolt the sway bar and remove the upper or lower shock mount. You'll have to watch the brake lines and may have to pull the caliper, but that's not too bad. You can do it with jack stands and a floor jack. Both BDS and Rough Country make 1.5-2" coil springs for these trucks. Earlier models result in a lesser lift (17-22 I think) while 23-25's result in 2" of lift. Then you'll have to add caster shims and it might be a good idea to upgrade the shocks, but not necessary.

Test drove a truck early last winter that had Synergy coils. Don't remember the lift but truck wasn't nose high. Check into them.

If you match your current spring rate probably. That is the good thing with the Tremor springs, there are different weight ratings.

But. Ps, and other stuff may include those already.

On my truck I don't have much left in the down strok before it hits the rubber stops

Tremor Coils will get you around an inch, get them the same rate as your factory coils. I did that on my 2021, I didn't measure but I'll post pics if I can find some.
