I have a 2002 f250 7.3l with the 4r100 transmission and a hydra tuner. I towed an enclosed trailer weighing roughly 8,000lbs and the truck pulled it great through the mountains. Trans temp, oil temp and everything else looked great. Got back from my trip, parked the truck for the night and the next day I went to drive it and it would barely accelerate. With my foot to the floor it struggled to reach 45mph on flat ground and it would not rev past 2200rpm. Shifting was a little rough. Scanned the pcm for codes and found po732. Checked trans fluid level and condition. Fluid clean, full and did not smell burnt. Pulled transmission pan and inspected. Did not find any unusual debris on the magnet. Replaced solenoid pack and transmission filter. No change when driving it. Pulled input shaft and output shaft spared sensors on the transmission and ohm tested. Ohms within specification. Unsure of where to look next. Truck feels like it has a load on it when driving it unloaded. With foot to the floor it struggles to gain rpm. Anyone have a similar issue?
No smoke from the exhaust. When in park or neutral the engine will rev freely. It doesn’t feel like the trans is slipping. I’m thinking maybe there’s a possibility of it being a torque converter
