dadgum speedo. cable

i got my instrument cluster loose and everything. how the heck does that cable come off? my panel all cracked and flimsy so i cant really get it out far enough to see real good. it's got some kinda yellow/white plastic thing that turns about half a turn. i've been tryin' to work that back and forth and release it. i cant really get on it though.

It's been a while since I took that off on my 76, but I believe you either squeeze or pull apart a couple latches.

You take the plastic connector, and push it to one side and it will release the cable.

yeah, it had a kind of tab on that plastic called it a "quick connector". i finally looked in my haynes. didn't feel too good to have to look in a book to unhook a wire. hahaha
